| Bought a house. Fixing up a house: ergo, new paint, new tub, new sinks, new mirror in bath, new vanity, new floor, new shower surround, new walls, new light fixture, new faucet, new toilet. AND THATS JUST THE BATHROOM!
Still living with the inlaws. CANT.WAIT.TO.MOVE.OUT Do you know how much of a damper living with the parents puts on married life? Or just to be able to un pack all my stuff and know exactly where my perfume was or my floss or my contacts or my dress clothes or my work clothes or the dog's heartworm meds....the list just goes on and on.... Marley - almost potty trained. Jack - still pees on couches.
The wind here sucks or rather blows. Wind turbine? Who can argue with free electricity? Cant wait to for spring and summer. I have big plans for our garden and flower boxes. Lastly, everyone should probably read what Im reading...
| So its only been 4 months since the last time I updated this thing. I figured it was due time. Plus, Nicole has been dying to know whats up.... Where to start? ....Life is has been RI-DIC-ULOUS!! Ill give the condensed version: Lost my job...yea it was lame. Jamie left his. We decided it was time to leave GR and headed south. Erin, TN was where we landed and began job hunting/wedding planning. The job hunt took longer than we expected and just when we started to get frustrated, Jamie got TWO offers back in MI. So back to MI we went for 2 weeks of interviewers and and came home with a new job! By the time we got back to TN, there were about 5 days left before the wedding and I went into hyper-planning mode. Im REALLY glad I didnt have a job because I wouldnt have had time to get everything done! The wedding was fantabulous! I couldnt have imagined a more wonderful day. Jim Keat was our officiant and he did an AMAZING job! After seeing Sarah and Caleb's wedding, we decided to follow an episcopalian wedding ceremony. It was beautiful. We ate. We danced. We laughed. Just wait till you see the pictures!! We honeymooned on Sanibel Island in Florida where we did nothing but eat (more!), tanned and well...enjoyed the benefits of married life ;) Then it was back to TN where we packed up our stuff and headed north. Jamie starts his job next week. Im interviewing and waiting to hear back. Lastly, we've made an offer on a house and we're hoping we get it! Its a great 3bdr, 1bth ranch style....and it comes with almost an acre of land!! TONS of room for the puppies, a garden, possibly a chicken coop (yes a chicken coop!) and babies!! It definitely needs some updating but with a builder for a father in law and a mother in law with a knack for interior design, I think we'll have it looking sharp in no time! Woo! So we shall see.... I think thats about the extent of it. Life is constantly changing....and with the way that Jamie and I fly through life by the seat of our pants....it will be no time before our next great adventure (babies???!?) I think thats about it. Just to entice you a bit....Ill post more when the professional pics come...although Mrs. Brenda Massung did a wonderful job with this one and a few others! Shes great!
There are tattoos under those things. ^
